Description
Botticelli’s Golden Tarot is based on the art and style of the Florentine painter Alessandre Filipepi, known as Sandro Botticelli.
All cards have a large number of details, unique elements such as dots, fine lines, and free-flowing leaves, adorned in gold, that sparkle when the card is tilted.
The symbols present in Botticelli’s works express, in a hidden way, a harmonious vision of nature, which unites the ideals of beauty, with an esoteric and religious dimension. These letters reveal, to an attentive observer, a truth that is deeper the more one penetrates into the analysis of the details that make up each image.
The illustrations of this golden tarot – botticelli were executed by the brilliant Bulgarian painter Atanas Alexander Atassanov on commission from the publisher Lo Scarabeo. This tarot presents itself as a true work of art, with each blade embossed in gold, making this deck a real gem.
The works of the great Florentine painter Alessandro Filipepi, known as “Botticelli” inspired this magnificent deck, which allegorically describes all kinds of human feelings: material desires, fears, passions, spiritual tensions. The various existential issues the painter went through inspired and affected his life and art, suggesting the various characters and situations that gave life to the 78 figures that make up this tarot.
