Lenormand Gilded Reverie (Sueños Encantados in Spanish) showcases Ciro Marchetti’s digital talents with captivating images in 47 gold-plated cards. This is an expanded and extra edition deck, in which it features eight special supplementary cards, including four that were not previously published in the 36-card Lenormand Gilded Reverie. The extra cards are: Time, Bridges, Dice, Mask, Well, Compass, Maze and Magnifying Glass. For this deck, Ciro Marchetti also offers an extra card for Man, Lady and Owl to improve Lenormand readings.
Ciro Marchetti’s Lenormand Gilded Reverie is an incredibly beautiful deck, very solid and digitally painted. It contains 47 cards and the gold coating on the cards is absolutely stunning.
There is also gold in the colored print on the front of the cards (numbered circle, suit and deck card number and filigram corners) and on the back (the circle ornamentation and filigram).
The illustrations on each letter are very detailed, and are very beautiful. The Cloud chart, 6, is a particularly good example of this, with the bright half of the clouds being dotted with tall birds, and the dark half broken with lightning hitting the tree of the previous chart. Which means that a print run becomes an authentic story in which images take us to a totally magical world, but also the letters intertwine between them. You can always look at the previous and next letter and see parts of them all. All cards display the letters CM and GRL – representing Ciro Marchetti and Gilded Reverie Lenormand – and are hidden, which makes it interesting to try to discover on each card.
It contains 47 letters and also contains a pocket guide book (Spanish) with 97 pages the same size as the letters, which provides expert instructions from Lee Bursten, Donnaleigh de LaRose and others for reading. Comes inside a very solid and quite colorful cardboard box.
